Maths

Over the year, we will cover the following areas of Maths:

• Number and Place Value
• Addition and Subtraction
• Geometry
• Multiplication and Division
• Measurement
• Fractions
• Statistics

We follow the White Rose Scheme of work for mathematics which is a mixture of fluency, problem solving and reasoning questions. There are opportunities to use concrete resources, pictoral as well as abrstract representations throughout each lessons giving children many methods to answer questions.
