Homework
In year 4, the children will receive homework each Monday and it must be returned to school on a Friday morning.
They will also be expected to read for 15 minutes each night and log in their reading record.
Our Homework Timetable
Monday - Spellings
The class will need to learn the words from the Y3/4 spelling list. The children will then be tested on these words on Friday.
Tuesday - Maths
Wednesday - English (Reading, Grammar or handwriting)
Thursday - Times tables
Times tables are a huge part of the year 4 curriculum and children should know their times tables to x12 by the end of year 4.
Homework should be presented as neatly as the work that we complete in class. It needs to be completed in black biro or pencil with a date at the top of each page.
