English - Summer 1

This half term in English we will be reading Macbeth by William Shakespeare. This play is adapted to be suitable for the Year 5 class. The play follows the progress of the title character as he becomes increasingly powerful, using any means to get what he wants - even murder! The children will explore story writing, letters, interviews, play scripts and non-chronological reports. Please find the knowledge organiser underneath. The children will also be watching the play as we read along.
