Year 5 Rules and Routines
Homework - Homework will now go home with the children on a Monday and will need to be brought back into school on a Friday. This will consist of an English writing or reading task, a maths task and a spelling list. We will go through the homework as a class on a friday afternoon.
Reading Books - Children will be able to take reading books home as we encourage as much home reading as possible. As we are trying to limit the amount of objects that are brought into school daily, these reading books will only come back into school when the children have finished them. They will then choose a new book from our class library to take home.
P.E - Children need to come into school in their winter P.E kit on P.E days. Winter kits should be plain black joggers or leggings, a white t-shirt and school jumper/cardigan.
Our P.E lessons in Year 5 currently take place on a Monday and Thursday.
