This half term Year 5 will be looking at forces. The topic aims to look at explaining the different forces that affect an object's movement, identifying the effects of air resistance, water resistance and fraction. We will also have a visit from a science expert who will develop the children's knowledge of forces through exciting activities.

Summer 2 -   For the final topic of our school year, Year 5 will be looking at animals including humans. We will describe the differences in the life cycles of a mammal, an amphibian, an insect, and a bird. We will also describe the life process of reproduction in some plants and animals.
