Assessments Summer term 2021
As with the previous academic year, the government suspended all statutory assessments for EYFS, KS1 and KS2. National performance data and tables for this academic year have not been published.
As a school, we undertook our own internal assessments to help us to inform the children's progress, attainment and enable us to plan the next steps in learning.
End of EYFS:

National data 2019 (pre-pandemic) showed 71.8% of pupils met a good level of development
Year 2 Phonics Check:
Autumn 2020- 20% passed the phonics screening check.
Progress to Summer 2021- 68% passed the phonics screening check.
Pre pandemic data in 2019- In the 2018 to 2019 school year: 85% of girls and 78% of boys met the expected standard in phonics in year 1. 94% of girls and 89% of boys met the standard by the end of year 2.

Assessments Summer 2020
Due to the implications of the Covid pandemic and the national lockdown, many children did not complete their EYFS, KS1 or KS2 programme of study and therefore all government statutory assessments were suspended for Summer 2020.
However, we continue to monitor, assess and track our children to ensure that they meet the highest standards possible. Assessment data may be shared with the Local Authority and local secondary schools where applicable, in line with GDPR.
